Sheridan community celebrates SDG Month to highlight climate action

The Sheridan community recently came together to celebrate SDG Month with a series of lively campus activities focused on responsible consumption and climate action.

From a hands-on repair workshop to bike tune-ups and a ‘Freeuse’ clothing pop-up shop, there was something for everyone!

Sheridan highlights

  • Repair Cafe: A total of 23.3 lbs of items were fixed and diverted from landfill
  • Trafalgar Community Cleanup: Over 10 bags of garbage were filled by volunteers
  • Free Clothing Market: A total of 207.7 lbs of clothes were given away
  • Community Engagement: The Mission Zero team engaged with over 300 students and staff to increase awareness about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

A big thank you to the Sheridan community and our volunteers for their involvement and impact!
